These kids camping plates have minor cosmetic imperfections, like light scratches, small dents or marks, but work exactly the same as our standard kids double wall plates. See photos for examples. Final sale, no returns for cosmetic imperfections.

A 23cm double wall kids camping plate with a few cosmetic marks, at a lower price.

This is our Seconds Kids Stainless Steel Double Wall Plate with minor cosmetic imperfections from manufacturing or transport. Each one has light scratches, small dents or marks, but the 304 food grade stainless steel and double wall construction are exactly the same as our standard kids plate. Kids are going to add plenty of their own scrapes at the campsite anyway, so if you don’t mind a few marks from the start, it’s an easy way to save.

The Indisposable Kids Stainless Steel Double Wall Plate is designed for family adventures, from campfire dinners and picnics to backyard meals and everyday use at home. At 23cm, it's a practical size for kids' meals, while 304 food-grade stainless steel gives it the durability to handle the inevitable drops, knocks and scrapes along the way.

What makes this plate different is its double wall construction. Most stainless steel camping plates are single walled, so heat moves straight through the base. The extra layer on this one slows that down, keeping warm food warmer for longer and making the underside more comfortable to handle or rest on your lap.

Unlike plastic plates, stainless steel won't crack, chip or become brittle over time. It also won't absorb food smells, flavours or stains, making it easy to clean and ready for the next meal.

It's compact enough to stack neatly in a camping crate or caravan cupboard, but sturdy enough to become part of your family's camping kit for years to come.

Plastic-free. Double walled. 304 stainless steel. Built for family adventures.

BENEFITS

• Built to last. Made from 304 food-grade stainless steel, this plate is designed to handle drops, knocks and everyday use without cracking or chipping like plastic can.

• Double walled for better insulation. Unlike standard single-wall stainless steel camping plates, the double-wall construction helps reduce heat transfer through the base, helping keep warm food warmer for longer.

• More comfortable to use. The insulating layer helps reduce heat transfer to the underside of the plate, making it more comfortable to hold or rest on your lap when serving warm food.
• Perfectly sized for kids. At 23cm, it's a practical size for children's meals while still providing plenty of room for a main meal, sides and snacks.
• Won't hold onto stains or smells. Stainless steel doesn't absorb food smells, flavours or stains in the way some plastic products can over time.
• Easy to pack and stack. The slim, simple design stacks neatly with other plates in the range and takes up minimal space in a camping crate, caravan or cupboard.
• Plastic free. Made from stainless steel with no plastic lining or coating, so there's no plastic to crack, warp or impart a plastic taste to food.
• Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe for fuss-free cleaning, or simply wash with warm, soapy water.
• Match the whole family. Pair it with our Adult Stainless Steel Double Wall Plate (25cm) for matching camping dinnerware that's designed to last.

END OF PRODUCT LIFE

This plate is designed to last for years, but when it eventually reaches the end of its life, stainless steel can be recycled and reused again and again.

Stainless steel is highly recyclable and can be recycled indefinitely without losing its properties. While stainless steel plates may not be accepted in your standard kerbside recycling collection, they can generally be taken to a local waste recovery centre or scrap metal recycling facility. Check with your local council or recycling facility for their requirements.

WHY CHOOSE DURABLE, PLASTIC-FREE CAMPING GEAR?

Camping gear gets put through a lot. Sun, water, dirt, drops, heat and constant use are all part of the adventure, so it makes sense to choose gear that's made to keep up.

And because camping gear needs to work hard, we've chosen stainless steel that can handle it. This plate is durable, reusable and designed to be used adventure after adventure, without relying on plastic that can crack, warp or become brittle over time.

At Indisposable, we look for practical alternatives that make sense for real life. This plate combines durability, functionality and a plastic-free design in one simple piece of camping gear that's ready for everything from weekend getaways to longer adventures.

FAQ

What kind of imperfections do these have?
Light scratches, small dents or small marks. They don’t affect the double wall construction or how the plate works. See the photos for examples.

Can I return a seconds plate?
Seconds are final sale, so we can’t accept returns for cosmetic imperfections. If something else is wrong with your plate, please get in touch.

What is double-wall construction?
Unlike a traditional single-wall stainless steel plate, this plate has two layers of stainless steel with an insulating layer between them. This helps reduce heat transfer through the base, helping keep warm food warmer for longer while making the underside of the plate more comfortable to handle.

Can I put hot food on this plate?
Yes. The stainless steel plate is suitable for serving hot and cold food. The double-wall design helps reduce heat transfer through the base, making it more comfortable to handle when serving warm food. As with any hot food, take care when serving children and ensure the food is a suitable temperature for them.

Is this plate dishwasher safe?
Yes. It's dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. It can also be hand washed with warm, soapy water.

How big is this plate?
The plate measures 23cm across, making it a practical size for kids' meals at the campsite, at home, on picnics or out and about.

Is this plate suitable for kids?
Yes. It's made from 304 food-grade stainless steel with no plastic lining or coating. It's a durable, reusable alternative to plastic plates for children.

Does this plate come in an adult size?
Yes. Our Adult Stainless Steel Double Wall Plate (25cm) features the same durable double wall construction in a larger size, so the whole family can have matching camping dinnerware. It’s also available as a seconds item.
