These kids camping mugs have minor cosmetic imperfections, like light scratches, small dents or off centre logos, but work exactly the same as our standard kids insulated mugs. See photos for examples. Final sale, no returns for cosmetic imperfections.

A tough little 300ml camping mug sized for kids, with a few cosmetic marks.

This is our Seconds Kids Stainless Steel Double Wall Mug with minor cosmetic imperfections from manufacturing or transport. Each one has light scratches, small dents or an off centre logo, but the 304 food grade stainless steel, double wall insulation and sturdy handle are exactly the same as our standard kids mug. Kids are going to add their own scratches at the campsite anyway, so if you don’t mind a few marks from the start, it’s an easy way to save.

The double wall construction keeps hot chocolate warm and cold drinks cool for longer, while the outside stays comfortable for little hands to hold and doesn’t get slippery with condensation.

At 300ml, it’s a practical size for smaller hands, with a sturdy handle that’s easy to grip. And because it’s stainless steel rather than plastic, it can handle being dropped, knocked over and thrown in the camping tub without cracking.

Plastic free. Double walled. 304 stainless steel. Made for little adventurers.

BENEFITS

• Built for kids. Made from durable 304 food grade stainless steel, this mug handles drops, knocks and everyday use without cracking or chipping like plastic can.
• Double walled for better insulation. The double wall construction helps keep hot drinks warmer and cold drinks cooler for longer, while reducing heat transfer to the outside.
• Comfortable for little hands. The sturdy handle gives a secure grip, and the double wall design keeps the outside of the mug more comfortable to hold when filled with a warm drink.
• Less condensation. The double wall design helps minimise condensation on the outside when filled with a cold drink, so it’s less slippery to hold.
• Kid sized 300ml capacity. Just right for milk, juice, water or hot chocolate, without taking up much space in your camping kit.
• Plastic free. Made from stainless steel with no plastic lining or coating, so there’s no plastic to crack, warp or impart a plastic taste to drinks.
• Durable and reusable. Designed to replace disposable or short lived plastic cups and last through plenty of camping trips.
• Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe for fuss free cleaning, or simply hand wash with warm, soapy water.

END OF PRODUCT LIFE

This mug is designed to last for years, but when it eventually reaches the end of its life, stainless steel can be recycled and reused again and again.

Stainless steel is highly recyclable and can be recycled indefinitely without losing its properties. While stainless steel mugs may not be accepted in your standard kerbside recycling collection, they can generally be taken to a local waste recovery centre or scrap metal recycling facility. Check with your local council or recycling facility for their requirements.

WHY CHOOSE DURABLE, PLASTIC FREE CAMPING GEAR FOR KIDS?

Kids are hard on their gear, and camping only makes it harder. Drops on rocks, sand in everything and cups left out in the sun are all part of the fun, so it makes sense to choose gear that can keep up.

Plastic kids cups tend to crack, warp and get tossed after a season or two. A stainless steel mug can handle years of knocks, and can even be handed down to younger siblings.

At Indisposable, we’re all about finding better alternatives to everyday plastic products. This mug gives kids their own proper camping mug that’s built to last, from hot chocolate around the campfire to cold water after a day at the beach.

FAQ

What kind of imperfections do these have?
Light scratches, small dents or an off centre logo. They don’t affect the insulation, the handle or how the mug works. See the photos for examples.

Can I return a seconds mug?
Seconds are final sale, so we can’t accept returns for cosmetic imperfections. If something else is wrong with your mug, please get in touch.

What is double wall construction?
Unlike a traditional single wall stainless steel mug, this mug has two layers of stainless steel with an insulating layer between them. This helps reduce heat transfer, keeping hot drinks warmer and cold drinks cooler for longer, while making the outside of the mug more comfortable to hold. It also helps minimise condensation when enjoying cold drinks.

Is this mug safe for kids to use with hot drinks?
The double wall design keeps the outside of the mug more comfortable to hold, but the drink itself can still be hot. As with any cup, check the temperature before handing a hot drink to young children.

Is this mug dishwasher safe?
Yes. It’s dishwasher safe, with the top rack recommended. It can also be hand washed with warm, soapy water.

How much does the mug hold?
The mug holds 300ml, a good size for kids’ drinks while camping, caravanning, hiking or enjoying the outdoors.

Does this mug come in an adult size?
Yes. Our Adult Stainless Steel Double Wall Mug (400ml) has the same double wall construction in a larger size, and is also available as a seconds item.
